Whatever your requirements are, whether it be an immaculate all year round ornamental lawn, a soft child friendly area for safe play, a hard wearing area for the family dog to use or a balcony terrace area for you to relax on - we have an artificial lawn grass, just perfect for you.
With no mowing, no watering, no weeding and mud free an artificial lawn grass could be the perfect choice. A practical solution in any well used garden benefiting from the natural appearance of a well kept lawn throughout the year whatever the weather.
Installation Process
Firstly, the area to be laid is cleared from existing grass and debris. Then a base is laid and compacted very much like in a patio installation. After compaction, a screed layer of sharp sand is then laid and levelled and on top of this goes a layer of heavy duty weed membrane to prevent future weeds.
The artificial grass is then rolled out over the level area and trimmed where necessary.
Rolls come in various widths. If two or more rolls have to be joined, this is done with the pile running in the same direction, and joined together using jointing tape and adhesive.
Finally kiln dried sand is spread over the area and brushed in to the pile. This is done to weigh down the artificial grass and assists in keeping the pile upright.
Where necessary edging boards can be used and the artificial turf can be secured.
Maintenance
Remove any debris as soon as possible and brush vigorously with a stiff broom. Brush against the pile to ensure tufts stand upright. Top up with sand if required. Artificial lawn grass can be cleaned with a hose pipe but do not use a pressure washer.
Available in several grades and shades - we have samples for you to view and of course we can always advise and assist in your choice.
We provide free no obligation quotations - call or e-mail for more details.
